Bud Powell (1924-1966) is performing “Get Happy” Paris December 1959 with Kenny Clarke and Pierre Michelot. Powell was a very influential pianist in jazz who, along with Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie, was instrumental in the development of bebop.
