Sheryl Crow has proposed on her website that individuals be limited to only one square of toilet paper per restroom visit except, of course, when those “pesky occasions” that require two or three. This would be to limit wastefulness and help the environment.The singer is on a concert tour with Laurie David promoting awareness about global warming.

Crow suggests using "only one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where two to three could be required".
The 45-year-old, who made the comment on her website, has just toured the US on a biodiesel-powered bus to raise awareness about climate change.
She teamed up with environmental activist Laurie David for the shows.
The pair targeted 11 university campuses to persuade students to help combat the world's environmental problems.
The show included a short set by the singer, a talk by David and segments of Al Gore's environmental film An Inconvenient Truth.
On their last date, which ended on Sunday at the George Washington University in Washington, Crow performed with Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and Carole King.
David's husband, Seinfeld creator Larry David, also appeared.
Crow has also commented on her website about how she thinks paper napkins "represent the height of wastefulness."
She has designed a clothing line that has what she calls a "dining sleeve".
The sleeve is detachable and can be replaced with another "dining sleeve" after the diner has used it to wipe their mouth.

I think that Crow's thoughtless words about global warming will not help the cause. There is already a lot of controversy over this issue. However, I think that the authenticity of Gore on Global Warming is not important. The genuineness of global warming is not proven but we cannot deny that the climate change in some parts of the world is devastating farmers in developing countries. Finding solutions to this problem is much more important than proving or disproving global warming. Credible advocates of global warming should speak out.
Global climate change is happening, and it always has; up and down and back and forth. Stop Continental drift; stop plate tectonics. The new age paranoid do not even know that the earth is always changing, but they are narcissistic enough to think it's about them. People simply live long enough and measure in infinitely small quantities and we see these things in our lifetime. It's not a big deal. Sea level may rise a dime or two this year, but in fact in Canada the land is rising faster since the ice melted. I'm not kidding.
What IS a big deal is that the IPCC have cooked the books on CO2 measurement. Goggle Ernst-Georg Beck and see the CO2 record in the atmosphere over the past 180 years. ...and be afraid, be very afraid.
