If you listen to the cultural...What's the big deal? If you listen to the cultural diversity folks, this is just an example of how the Turks treat women. Certain African tribes mutilate girl's privates. Perhaps the Hindus will bring back suttee which the British outlawed in 1829. Suttee is the custom of chaining the deceased husband's widow to his funeral pyre and burning her alive. When the English outlawed suttee the Hindus squawked like mad that they were interfering with their (Hindu's) religious practices. The British denied it was an interference. The Hindus were welcome to continue the practice...just that the British would hang anyone caught immolating innocent widows.<BR/><BR/>You know those dastardly culturally insensitive British...How dare they put their morals on the Hindus?
